2018 Rama VIP: Iron, Fire & Brine
We've had the pleasure of collaborating with Jaret and Mona from Tournant on more than a few occasions (Feast Portland, Shuck Portland, Secret Supper, PDX Oyster Socials, etc) and absolutely love their food, their aesthetic, and their work ethic. The attention to detail they bring to all that they do is incredibly inspiring. If your idea of a good time is spending a few hours next to a beach campfire learning to prepare delicious, atavistic food, then this class is for you.
This hands on experience will explore the fundamentals of open fire cooking, and include a lunch of cedar planked fish and cast iron seafood pozole made by you, and wine from Napa Valley’s Hayfork Winery. This event is from 11 to 1, which means it starts an hour before the main event, and gets out in plenty of time to enjoy the Rama proper. After you buy your ticket, we’ll be in touch to arrange a meeting place.
