Jaret and Mona from Tournant are some of our favorite people to work with... everything they do, whether it's at a longtable supper or around a mountaintop campfire, is done with ease, grace, and beauty. They taught a similar campfire cooking class at last year’s rama, and it was so successful we’re bringing this incredibly beautiful experience back for a second year. If your idea of a good time is spending a few hours next to a beach campfire learning to prepare delicious, atavistic food, then this class is for you.

This hands-on experience will explore the fundamentals of open fire cooking, and include a lunch of eclade de moules (mussels roasted over Douglas-fir boughs) and cast iron seafood stew. The meal will be paired with wine from our friends at Cooper Mountain Winery, an organic and biodynamic family-run winery in the Willamette Valley.

This event is from 11 to 1, which means it starts an hour before the main event, and gets out in plenty of time to enjoy the Rama proper. After you buy your ticket, we’ll be in touch to arrange a meeting place.

Fine print: This purchase is non-refundable and is limited to folks 21 and up. Please plan on having ID handy at the event. We won't issue paper tickets to this event. After you buy a ticket, we'll follow up with more info.
