The skinny on our 2015 Holiday Schedule and Menu
Join the Pacific Coast Shellfish Grower's Association at their annual bivalve extravaganza, the Shellfish Lovers Ultimate Rejuvenation Party, or SLURP.
SLURP is pretty much the best oyster party going, with growers from across the region paired with some of the best chefs. Plus, oyster farmers really know how to party. The event is from 4:30 to 8:30 at the Fish Tale Brew House in Olympia.
Tickets available here.
We're thrilled to host an Outstanding in the Field dinner this summer in partnership with Chef Zoi Antonitsas.
This is an adults-only celebration of summer in the NW. We're thinking bonfires on the beach, high tide at dinner time, with potentially a swim or two. Who knows where the night will take us. Tickets to this event are selling quickly, and are available through Outstanding in the Field, here.
Discover the magical world of oysters by learning to shuck like a master, cook up oysters with ease, and become an oyster connoisseur.
During the indulgent afternoon you will enjoy oysters raw, naked, dressed, grilled, and smoked. Melissa and Maylin of Olympia Oyster Bar and Lissa from Hama Hama will share their oystery know-how, covering shucking, anatomy, history and culture, recipes, buying and storing, and pairings.
Tickets available at Elder Hall.
